Traversée internationale du Lac-St-Jean 2022 edition

From July 23 to 30, the 68th edition of the Traversée internationale du Lac-Saint-Jean took place. In addition to the famous 32 km event which returns annually, events of 1, 2, 5 and 10 km will be held for amateur athletes. These events will feature athletes of all ages, some of whom may aspire to make the main event next year. Congratulations to all the participants, it's quite a challenge that you accept to take up!

But don't think that the Traversée du Lac is just people swimming (that would be a bit simplistic, swimming, especially in open water, is no easy feat!), there is also a crowd other activities in Roberval that week! Just think of the supper in the streets which took place on the 27th, or the shows of the Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project and the Cowboys Fringants which took place respectively on the Friday and Saturday evenings of the last two days of the week of the crossing this year. It was a hell of a great week of filming for us and we thank the organizers very much for trusting ZigZag to take video content for this edition. Looking forward to seeing you again next time!
