Biography

Watching Michael skate is like seeing the sun come out from behind the clouds. He arrives smoothly, blending in perfectly with the skatepark fauna. After a few warm-ups, he slowly launches through the modules to feel them. Then, he goes back and forth a few times and the beast is unleashed. Smiling as he explains his creative intentions, the smirk quickly fades into a focused face as he drops his weight into the quarters pipes to create the speed needed for his acrobatics. After a few well-calculated weight transfers and a slight readjustment of the right foot, Michaël leaps with his board, and if it's not him who is twirling in the air, it's his board which waltzes in the blink of an eye.

A seasoned skateboarder, Michaël is not afraid of trying again and again and is always ready to go beyond his limits. He has also been doing highdiving for several years, another extreme sport that involves jumping from more than ten meters high, both indoors and outdoors. You can see him jumping from the Ste-Martine bridge in Beauce or from the outdoor training platform located in St-Ephrem-de-Beauce. He has even dived from a wall of the Saguenay Fjord!
