Two years Later

Two years ago, the Lac-St-Jean newspaper did an interview with us. Two years later, they were kind enough to publish a second article about the company. Only good words and an overview of the team's accomplishments over the past 24 months. It is with pride and nostalgia that we look at this article, a symbol of our perseverance and proof that we have been able to grow as entrepreneurs!

Founded two years ago by Alma residents Alex Savard and Dominic Ménard and Saguenean Vincent Marquis, the video production company ZigZag Sport has created a solid reputation on the regional scene.

Sometimes for corporate purposes, sometimes for event purposes, many customers have placed their trust in ZigZag Sport, which now has around thirty contracts to its credit.

Several recognized organizations, such as Festivalma, La Traversée du Lac-Saint-Jean or the Festival des Bières d’Alma, have entrusted the company with the production of their promotional material.

But above all, ZigZag Sport has distinguished itself in the world of sport, which remains its favorite field.

As Alex Savard reminds us, “our primary goal is really to give visibility to athletes. We want to create content with the talent of Quebec athletes, put them forward and be a springboard for them. We want to show what they are capable of so that they can make themselves known. »

As such, he is delighted to have been able to collaborate with athletes such as high-flying diver Lysanne Richard, windsurfer Michael Foisy and Charles Desrosiers, who practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A total of seven athletes are now corporate ambassadors.

In short, the founders of ZigZag Sport have made a pious wish a reality: their company has the wind in its sails and now enjoys good credibility.

Athlete support

ZigZag Sport's mission is, among other things, to give a showcase to emerging athletes, which the company proposes to do by various means.

“The first way we sponsor our athletes is by offering them the production of a video for free. It allows them to be seen, to show what they are capable of, and thus to be approached by sponsors bigger than us. »

In addition, with each corporate or event contract, ZigZag Sport will keep a percentage of its fee in order to reinject it in the form of sponsorships for its athletes.

Upcoming projects

At the dawn of its third year of existence, ZigZag Sport has set itself various objectives, starting with increasing the number of athletes it sponsors.

"We really want to push this aspect to the maximum," says Alex Savard, adding that the company also wants to participate in the organization of sporting events in different disciplines.

Finally, ZigZag Sport plans to work on the production of a television series featuring Quebec athletes.
